RANDOM BERLIN S1 E1

Random Berlin A Signora Penelope Studios Production

In the fractured heart of a neon-drenched Berlin that may or may not exist, a boy seethes with visceral hatred for his mother. What begins as raw domestic rebellion spirals into something far more treacherous when his therapist starts rewriting the architecture of his mind.

As sessions intensify, the boy is violently pulled into a shimmering, glitch-ridden videogame realm — or is the game pulling the real world into itself? Reality fractures. Time loops. Memories are edited. Every character — mother, therapist, friends, even the boy himself — begins to question which version of events is authentic, and which is code wearing flesh.

With entirely original sound design that bleeds between industrial drones, distorted lullabies, and razor-sharp digital artifacts, and a visual language that is aggressively experimental — hand-processed footage, datamoshing, analog decay, and hyper-saturated game aesthetics colliding — Random Berlin refuses to offer comfort or clarity.

This is not a film about escaping reality. It is a film about realizing there may never have been one to begin with.

A disturbing, hypnotic meditation on family trauma, psychological manipulation, the gamification of consciousness, and the terrifying collapse of the boundary between the real and the rendered.
