Signora Penelope Studios was founded by writer–director Barbara Brogi as an independent space for cinema born between lucid perception and dream. The studio develops films, music-driven visions, and hybrid works that move freely between autobiography, abstraction, and experimental narrative.

Created first in Berlin and now based in Italy, Signora Penelope Studios works across image, sound, and text to shape films that investigate identity, excess, memory, and metamorphosis. Each project emerges from Barbara’s multidisciplinary background — writing, visual art, and journalism — and from a desire to challenge traditional cinematic form.

Our scope includes feature films, short works, experimental series, visual research, and projects that expand into literature and performance. We collaborate with digital and AI-assisted tools, exploring new cinematic languages that blur fiction, self-portrait, and dream-logic.

With an uncompromising artistic vision, Signora Penelope Studios exists to create works that disrupt, transform, and stay with the viewer long after the screen fades.
