That old lady

That Old Lady is an experimental character study built from self-performed fragments, VHS textures, improvised monologues, and handmade props. The film follows a bizarre, unpredictable woman who slips in and out of personas: grandmother, trickster, performer, philosopher, and sometimes something not entirely human. Wearing a cotton wig and shifting faces, she delivers absurd confessions, strange wisdom, and surreal humor while interacting with objects, stop-motion inserts, and the ghosts of her own imagination.

The film bends autobiography into fiction, using lo-fi aesthetics, glitches, and home-video intimacy to explore identity, aging, loneliness, and play. That Old Lady becomes a distorted mirror—funny, unsettling, and strangely touching—where the character is both a mask and a self-portrait.
